I am a registered specialist Dietitian, with my specialist areas being Paediatrics, Weight management and Sports Nutrition.
I graduated from Surrey University in 2002 and worked in Norfolk for 9 years before moving and working within the NHS in Essex as a specialist paediatric dietitian. Alongside my NHS role over the past 2 years I have become trained in Health Coaching a fascinating concept which I believe gives me the tools to have a different conversation with my clients, one which achieves goals using a person centred solution focussed approach.
I have a wealth of experience working with clients of all ages within weight management, food intolerances, nutritional assessments to identify potential nutritional deficiencies. I have worked at a local to international level within sports nutrition- in sports from archery to rugby to rowing across the channel. I am also ISAK qualified so can accurately assess body fat composition.
I take great satisfaction from helping individuals improve their performance through changes in lifestyle and nutrition.
