Chartered Physiotherapist | Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)
At The Centre for Health & Human Performance (CHHP) I work with a varied list of clients and athletes alongside an expert multi-disciplinary team.
At Hintsa Performance I work as a Performance Coach / Physiotherapist within motorsport and have been in this role since the start of 2017. This involves working closely with a wide team of other practitioners / coaches and specialists.
I have worked with a variety of professional athletes from boxing, golf, rugby and football.
In addition, I have experience working with Olympic athletes from; Snowboarding, Skiing, Judo, Canoeing & Bob Skeleton. I was involved with athlete support up to both Vancouver 2010 (British Snowboarding) and Sochi 2014 (Canada Snowboard) Winter Olympic Games as well as the London 2012 Olympics (British Canoeing).
I have an active interest in Strength & Conditioning and its role in both rehabilitation & performance. I have been fortunate to work with a number of talented S&C coaches in different gym and performance environments around the world. My work values are solidly around teamwork and preparation in supporting individual athletes achieve excellence whilst remaining healthy.
I have completed my NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification (CSCS). Previously, I attended the UKSCA Weight Lifting for Sports course level 1 qualification.
In 2012, I co-founded Sports-Taping.com with Patrick Harding which led us on to running the clinical education & tutoring for the SPORTTAPE Academy. I also teach on the Pro-Active Training Sports Massage diploma.
